WELCOME VETS AND FUTURE VETS!

 

We are SO excited you are here! We are two veterinarians from the class of 2014 at Virginia Tech. While each of us started out on a different path (Ashley did a small animal rotating internship and Monica started in small animal general practice), we were lucky enough to end up working together at the same 24 hour hospital. It was at this hospital that we would continue to learn the lessons of new vets through coaching interns and externs. This experience made us intimately familiar with the struggles we all face upon transitioning to the real world.

Though we are at a comfortable point in our careers, we know FIRSTHAND the daily stressors, anxiety, and concerns that new and recent graduates go through when they enter our profession. And we can help you.

We created Vets on the Rise with YOU in mind, so that we can help future generations bridge the gap between struggling recent graduate to the amazing vet you are meant to be. Here we offer programs and tools that you will need to succeed in the beautiful world of veterinary medicine. We are so excited you are here to join us on this journey and look forward to getting to know you in this intimate community we have created.
